Scuderia Ferrari

Ferrari are the most successful team in Formula 1, having won the most races and Constructors’ championships ever. In 2022, Ferrari finished second in the Drivers’ World Championship (with Charles Leclerc) and the Constructors’ World Championship. They will be pushing to close the gap to Red Bull in 2023. The team’s full name is Scuderia Ferrari, which is led by Frederic Vasseur as team principal. With the enormous support of the Tifosi, Ferrari are one of, if not the most supported team in F1 history.

I will do everything I can to bring the Number One to Ferrari. The whole team and all the fans deserve it.

The history of the Ferrari F1 team

Ferrari are the most successful F1 team of all time, having won 16 Constructors’ championships and 242 Grands Prix. Alberto Ascari was the first driver to win a Drivers’ world championship with a Ferrari in 1952. Juan Manuel Fangio, Mike Hawthorn, Phil Hill, John Surtees, Niki Lauda, and Jody Scheckter all won a Drivers’ championship with Ferrari, giving the team legendary status during the early years of Formula 1.

After Jody Scheckter’s title in 1979, Ferrari struggled to return to glory, even with talented drivers such as Gilles Villeneuve and Alain Prost. Then came arguably the most well-known Ferrari driver of the modern era, Michael Schumacher. The German won five consecutive titles with the Prancing Horses from 2000 until 2004 and got the most pole positions, and race wins at the time.

Kimi Räikkönen won the team’s last Drivers’ championship in 2007, but after Felipe Massa lost out on the 2008 title against Lewis Hamilton (they still won the Constructors’ championship), they have failed to win a title ever since. Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, and Charles Leclerc all finished second in the championship driving for Ferrari behind Red Bull and Mercedes, respectively. On the other hand, every year, Ferrari are expected to be amongst the frontrunners and at least challenge for the titles.
